Our Mission

Leslie’s Garage started in 2022 with one simple idea: create something good and share it with others.

What began as one mom crafting with heart has grown into a small team of creative moms who believe that kindness, creativity, and community can make a real difference.

Today, Leslie’s Garage is a place where crafting meets purpose — where the things we make are meant to spark joy, encourage creativity, and bring people together.

Over the years we’ve tried a little bit of everything. From handmade gifts and community projects to craft shows and creative kits, we’ve spent our time learning what works and what truly connects people.

In 2025 we went through a full revamp — adding more moms to our team, rebuilding our craft room, moving crafting locations, experimenting with social media, and trying our hand at in-person craft shows.

Some things worked, some things didn’t, and some things taught us a lot along the way.Through all the mixing, morphing, and experimenting, we like to think we found our niche with the things people love most: our DIY pen kits and fancy pens.

But Leslie’s Garage has always been about more than crafting.

It’s about community.Through the generosity of people who believe in what we’re doing, we’ve been able to support families and small moments of kindness along the way.

One of our earlier projects included Love Bundles, thoughtfully put together for moms entering shelters — small packages meant to bring comfort, dignity, and a reminder that someone cares during incredibly difficult times.

Over the years we’ve also worked on projects like Mother’s Day bundles, back-to-school supplies, and Christmas gifts for kids spending the holidays in the hospital.

These projects remind us that even small acts can create real impact.Even through the chaos and rebuilding that came with 2025, we were still able to donate 14 pen kits to Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) so kids could have something fun and creative during their stay. For 2026, we’re hoping to do even more.

Our goal is to donate 20 pen kits, and we’re making that possible with a simple promise: For every 6 kits purchased, 1 kit will be donated.

Leslie’s Garage has also continued to grow as a small business. In 2025 we moved our shop from Mercari to Etsy, which has allowed us to reach more people who love creativity, crafting, and meaningful gifts.

At its heart, Leslie’s Garage is still exactly what it started as — a group of people who believe in creativity, kindness, and teaching our kids to do good in the world.

We believe in celebrating small wins.

We believe in community.

And we believe that something as simple as a craft kit can create a moment of joy.

Thank you for being part of our village.
